Field trips will be offered twice for 1 - 5th grade students during the second and forth Monday of each month throughout the school year. For just $8 per student, field trips will begin with registration at 9:00 a.m. and will last until 2:30 p.m. Bring your own lunch. These events will use a variety of learning activities and styles. Field trips will be limited to 30 students. Please phone or email to register your child(ren). No walk-ins can be accepted. Field trip topics will include:
September 14 or 28 Communication - We do it, so do many classes of animals. Work on your communication skills during this incredible day!
October 5 or 19 The Autumn season - Plants and animals are busy this time of year, all in preparation for the winter months ahead. See and learn from the nature around you!
November 9 or 23 Minerals & soil - There's plenty of it all around, come and study God's foundation for the world.
December 7 or 21 Conservation - is a big word, yet we practice it every day. See conservation in action and learn why its important in our lives.
January 11 or 25 Classification! - This is a basic building block in all sciences (and many of our school subjects). Learn the how's and why's for classification.
February 1 or 22 Use your senses! - You have five of them, and good science will put them all to use. Be ready for an active day.
March 1 or 15 Indiana Reptiles - What makes a reptile a reptile? Take a look at some of God's incredible creations.
April 5 or 19 Babies, Babies! The basic steps of life begin in the spring. Learn about the variety of young that are produced in nature.
