Camper banks are provided to
care for your childs spending money while at camp. Use of the camper bank is
optional but encouraged. Money is deposited at registration and is available to
the campers at the canteen and craft room on a paperless, credit basis. Campers
will not need to handle any money and will be informed of their remaining
balance during each canteen/craft time. Campers can purchase items at the
canteen two times each day and/or extra craft items at the craft room.
We
suggest $2 $4 per day for spending money. Because of spending limits, campers
are unable to spend more than $30 on canteen items throughout the course of the
week. . (The average spent for week-long campers is about $12-$17; Explorer
campers average spending amount is $5-$7.)
Mission
Option: On the last day of your child's camp program, campers will
be given the option of donating any leftover money to a mission project
or they can still choose for it to be returned to
them. This achieves two goals: 1) puts our faith in action as we help
someone in need 2) cuts down on the work each week of counting and changing out
100+ camper's bank amounts.
Camper banks
are not offered for the following camp programs:
-
Tri-C
-
Servant Events
-
Kindercamp
-
